Although they haven’t directly observed Planet 9 yet, they have ruled out many places where it could be and are now focusing on the most distant regions of its possible orbit. The scientists are optimistic that, with the help of new telescopes like Subaru and the upcoming Vera C. Rubin Observatory, they will soon find the elusive planet.
